This model was developed for ABNAMRO within a Knowledge Management program. The program was led by Peter Verhoeven (ABNAMRO) and Boudewijn van Silfhout (IBM).

The model describes 3 aspects that need attention to enable the existing knowledge and knowledge workers to deliver optimal performance. The following aspects are distinguished:

• Culture: the willingness
• (Infra)structure and organization: the ability
• Processes: the doing

Focusing on these aspects allows for the optimal use of available knowledge.
